From June 1st, 2022 the access policy to the terrains of dnata, KLM Cargo, Menzies, Swissport and WFS changes.
Below you will find the most frequently asked questions.
Why are access procedures changing? |
There have been increasingly more thefts and subversive activities in the logistics chain which cause companies to suffer substantial losses. e-Registration is a security upgrade to prevent theft/ subversion and to protect you and your air cargo. |
When will these changes take effect? |
From the 1st of June 2022 pre-registration will be mandatory. |
What will change? |
Pre-registration will be mandatory for all parties who are delivering or picking up cargo on the premises of the handlers on Schiphol. |
Is pre-registration mandatory? |
Yes, on all mentioned premises pre-registration is mandatory. Please be advised: every e-Registration is single entry only. |
For which handler locations at Schiphol is pre-registration mandatory? |

I’m using eLink, should I also register via e-Registration? | No, hauliers on an eLink-trip are already automatically pre-registered. |
Who has to be registered? | All drivers and Road Feeder Services picking up or delivering cargo to the above-mentioned handling agents must be pre-registered. Couriers, document messenger clerks or people delivering and/or collecting empty pallets/ULDs must also be registered in advance. |
Which cargo flows have to be registered? | All cargo flows: export, import and RFS. |
Who has to arrange the e-Registration?? | The haulier company collecting or delivering cargo must register the visit in advance. In practice it will be the transport planner who will arrange the pre-registration. Drivers cannot, and may not, register themselves. |
Do I already have an account for e-Registration? | If you already use either the ACN or the EU cards, then you already have an account. You can simply login via app.smartloxs.com and navigate to e-Registration. It is possible to request for more than one account, i.e. for your transport planners. To do this, please sent an e-mail to helpdesk@smartloxs.com, subject: Request for new user account e-Registration. Please provide SmartLOXS the first name, last name / family name and e-mail address. New accounts will receive an e-mail with further instructions |
I don’t have an account yet. How can I apply for one? | On www.visitamscargo.com, you can click on “register company” and you fill in the online form. After all your papers are received your account will be setup as soon as possible. |

What happens after registration? | If you have an ACN or EU card: If you don’t have an ACN or EU card: Note: a driving licence is not a valid proof of identity. |
Is this not additional work for the chain partners? | In practice, a lot of the visits are already registered via e-mail. With e-Registration we make it more consistent. There is a good reason for registration. We must keep the chain secure and prevent malpractices such as theft. e-Registration is as user friendly as is possible: Export pre-registration is automatic via Digital Pre-Notification. Import pre-registration is quick and simple via www.visitamscargo.com |
